RIVERS STATE IN A STATE OF QUAGMIRE - Hon. Emejim Wisdom

Rivers state in a state of quagmire! Civil servants have not been paid for five months. Teachers are dying silently. The school system has collapsed. They said they are doing biometrics, by the time the exercise ends,it will become death metrics. 

Biometrics can be done and concluded in two weeks where there is the political will power.It is indeed a trick to buy time and suffer the poor civil servants. OK, look at this; in Rivers state there's a chronology of sharing things, but they departed from that norm. 

Biometrics should start from Abua, Ahoada east, Ahoada west, e.t.c in that order. Not Obio akpor where the governor comes from, and not Ogba egbema where the PDP party chairman comes from. That is selfishness. Somebody should tell them that civil servants have families, they have responsibilities, they have projects which they have planned to complete before retirement. By this action of non payment, their debt burden has risen geometrically because of d activities of Shylock lenders. 

It is so pitiable and pathetic what teachers and other civil servants are going through. Why play politics with their stomach? Why play politics wit the future of their children? Why will terror and horror not loom d land? Youths are angry because they are hungry. Papas and mamas are dying because of hunger! Mortuary bill is rising because there is no money to fasten d burial process. It is not Buhari, please don't be ignorant and naive! Cross River state is not owing, Delta state is not owing, Edo state is not owing, Sokoto, Kaduna, Lagos etc are not owing. How come the second in command in Federal allocation benefit is owing?

My dear brothers in P-D-P, I know you guys are suffering and smiling. Those in APC are watching. They are already adapted to hunger. 

We know that at most its for 8 years. P-D-P faith-Fools, continue to pretend till death do u part. Don't shout, don't cry out like d blind Bathemius in the bible. The party will be there and they will render your service of songs. What an irony, "people in power hunger for food"? Oh that's too bad!

Ekiti workers could no longer bear it, they cried out. Rivers P-D-P workers, endure on, your reward is in heaven! JUST AN ADVICE...

This problem is applicable to all the states in Nigeria, the APC lead federal govt has failed in it's campaign bogus promises. During the time of G.E.J, did u hear of bailout fund, by brother president buhari is not efficient when it comes to economy & foreign policy. What we need now is true federalism, if we continue like this Nigeria will be at the keg of gun powder....................... END


My brother let's not b partisan here, what you talk about in State starts here in the Federal level and not just Rivers alone where you're a Minority. Call Buhari to do the needful.................END


At first everyone thinks a true leadership is Power, but now the reverse. You are ruling a country not the Arm forces. When it comes to economy the federal level is -0 out of 100℅. Let's be realistic, our hardship and hunger is from the federal level, let's stop blaming innocent Governors. Buhari needs to wake up, many more to come...................................END

Wisdom, you talk as if you're a new man in this country. Or is it because of your sentimental affiliation to APC that made you forget IMO state that is governed by an APC Governor (Okorocha)? Imo state is in a state i can call the worst in west Africa. Go find out yoursef before castigating P.D.P..................END

 Insecurity issue, for years now boko haram took over three LGAs in the north, fedral government couldn't push them out. Buhari n APC promised that in one month, Boko Haram would be a thing of history... how far now? This problem is every where. In Benue a Rev. Father was killed and even APC states re suffering same..............................END
