But don’t start transferring your anger by commenting stuffs like: WHO told you that’s how it is???? Because sooner than later; you’ll see the reality of this post.

Ekpeye elites and politicians lack selfless gestures - Edward Imo

I was in a gathering of some friends yesterday and I got wind of the fact that some Ikwerre elites and politicians are aggressively combing their respective communities and families in search of their brothers who put in UST as an admission option so they can give them automatic admission regardless of their scores.

While I was happy for the ethnic nationalist spirit of these Ikwerre elites and politicians, I was also bleeding in my heart as an Ekpeye man because I know that such selfless gestures are scarce amongst Ekpeye elites and politicians. The typical Ekpeye elite and politician insists that an Ekpeye son seeking admission or employment must be the most qualified in terms of grade before he accepts your application form which he will dispose in his trash can.

The Ekpeye elites and politicians insist that you must serve them, wash their cars every day, take bullets meant for them on your chest for them to give you a miserable 10k. They prefer to buy the youths goat meat or point and kill pepper soup and cartons of beer rather than give them jobs. Elites and politicians from other tribes don't care to know you one on one to give you job or admission but those from Ekpeye dig into history and recall how your grand father once insulted his great grand father...They forget that one can not force respect but you command it through your actions.

These elites erroneously expect the youths in their communities to bow to them when they come for weekends...that's a tall dream. The good thing in life is that nothing lasts forever...the youths you have refused to help today would grow up tomorrow to determine the fate of either your grand children or uncles or even yourself.

Helping an Ekpeye youth does not remove a kobo from your fat bank account...The only remedy to insecurity in Ekpeye and road to rapid development is for the political and elitist classes in Ekpeye to take up the challenge of mass recruitment of Ekpeye youths in their respective offices and the establishment of educational endowment funds for indigent and yet intelligent Ekpeye youths.

Peace cannot come when the supposed elitist and political classes are busy pouring blames on the traditional institution of which they can regulate. Peace cannot return to Ekpeye when the supposed political and elitist classes are busy holding talks and lavishing their resources on Rhythms and Naija Info over issues that will never give the youths admission or job.

I will never regret being an Ekpeye because Ekpeye is blessed with a fantastic terrain and awesome socio cultural heritage but bereft of genuine ethnic nationalists. What we have in Ekpeye at the moment are not Ekpeye elites and politicians but selfish and self-centred elites and politicians who are from the ethnic nationality known as Ekpeye.

God save Ekpeye.

FCB# - Man City close in on Bravo

BARCELONA WILL DEFINITELY GONNA MISS CLAUDIO BRAVO.

The goalkeeping dilemma is over at Barcelona, because one of the world best goalkeepers is leaving. Bravo wasn't among the best goalkeepers in the world until he joined Barcelona. Breaking a record that stood more than 20 years in La Liga history. Keeping clean sheets on a regular basis and protecting and commanding a shaky Barcelona defence and by so doing, established himself as one of the best goalkeepers in the modern game coupled with a lot of experience. Bravo is just everything you need as a goalkeeper. No wonder since he joined Barcelona, Barca has always won La liga (back to back) But is so unfortunate he had to compete with another fantastic goalkeeper in Marc Ter Stegen (The 2nd Manuel Neuer) who is a project for the future. Ter Stegen is already a world class goalkeeper, but keeping every week will even improve him to been one of the world's best
.
Manchester City and Barcelona have agreed a transfer deal for goalkeeper Claudio Bravo, who will join the Citizens on a four-year contract for a €20 million transfer fee. Bravo will fly to Manchester in the upcoming days for medicals.
Bravo has been linked with Pep Guardiola's team for months, as was Marc-André ter Stegen, his teammate and "rival". The Chilean and the German battled for two years for the undisputed starting spot at Barcelona, with Bravo playing La Liga matches while Stegen took over the gloves for Cup Games. Multiple reports said Ter Stegen would be given the job this season, which caused Claudio to request a transfer.
Once the request was handed out, Guardiola instantly asked the City board to make the deal happen, and it is now done. Bravo is still expected to stay with the side for the Spanish Super Cup second leg on Wednesday against Sevilla, then travel to England and sign his contract. Ter Stegen is expected back from injury in two weeks meaning La Masia product Jordi Masip who is also a great goalkeeper might be in line to start La Liga.
.
Bravo you are going to be missed for sure. We wish you well in your Career! And for Ter Stegen, put on the gloves and show the world how amazing you are. Is a priviledge to be Barcelona's number 1. Is a dream!
.
BRAVO TO BRAVO. Barcelona will never never forget you!

RIVERS STATE IN A STATE OF QUAGMIRE - Hon. Emejim Wisdom

Image result for rivers state news
Rivers state in a state of quagmire! Civil servants have not been paid for five months. Teachers are dying silently. The school system has collapsed. They said they are doing biometrics, by the time the exercise ends,it will become death metrics.
Biometrics can be done and concluded in two weeks where there is the political will power. It is indeed a trick to buy time and suffer the poor civil servants. OK, look at this; in Rivers state there's a chronology of sharing things, but they departed from that norm.
Biometrics should start from Abua, Ahoada east, Ahoada west, e.t.c in that order. Not Obio akpor where the governor comes from, and not Ogba egbema where the PDP party chairman comes from. That is selfishness. Somebody should tell them that civil servants have families, they have responsibilities, they have projects which they have planned to complete before retirement. By this action of non payment, their debt burden has risen geometrically because of d activities of Shylock lenders.
It is so pitiable and pathetic what teachers and other civil servants are going through. Why play politics with their stomach? Why play politics wit the future of their children? Why will terror and horror not loom d land? Youths are angry because they are hungry. Papas and mamas are dying because of hunger! Mortuary bill is rising because there is no money to fasten d burial process. It is not Buhari, please don't be ignorant and naive! Cross River state is not owing, Delta state is not owing, Edo state is not owing, Sokoto, Kaduna, Lagos etc are not owing. How come the second in command in Federal allocation benefit is owing?

My dear brothers in P-D-P, I know you guys are suffering and smiling. Those in APC are watching. They are already adapted to hunger.

We know that at most its for 8 years. P-D-P faith-Fools, continue to pretend till death do u part. Don't shout, don't cry out like d blind Bathemius in the bible. The party will be there and they will render your service of songs. What an irony, "people in power hunger for food"? Oh that's too bad!

Ekiti workers could no longer bear it, they cried out. Rivers P-D-P workers, endure on, your reward is in heaven! JUST AN ADVICE...

Hon. Emejim Wisdom received these replies from listeners:

This problem is applicable to all the states in Nigeria, the APC lead federal govt has failed in it's campaign bogus promises. During the time of G.E.J, did u hear of bailout fund, by brother president buhari is not efficient when it comes to economy & foreign policy. What we need now is true federalism, if we continue like this Nigeria will be at the keg of gun powder....................... END

My brother let's not b partisan here, what you talk about in State starts here in the Federal level and not just Rivers alone where you're a Minority. Call Buhari to do the needful.................END

At first everyone thinks a true leadership is Power, but now the reverse. You are ruling a country not the Arm forces. When it comes to economy the federal level is -0 out of 100℅. Let's be realistic, our hardship and hunger is from the federal level, let's stop blaming innocent Governors. Buhari needs to wake up, many more to come...................................END

Wisdom, you talk as if you're a new man in this country. Or is it because of your sentimental affiliation to APC that made you forget IMO state that is governed by an APC Governor (Okorocha)? Imo state is in a state i can call the worst in west Africa. Go find out yoursef before castigating P.D.P..................END

Insecurity issue, for years now boko haram took over three LGAs in the north, fedral government couldn't push them out. Buhari n APC promised that in one month, Boko Haram would be a thing of history... how far now? This problem is every where. In Benue a Rev. Father was killed and even APC states re suffering same..............................END

NOW WHAT'S YOUR TAKE??
